Efficient Solar Water Pumping for Small Farms
The A2ZSIP-4 is a compact solar irrigation power and control system designed to operate compatible 4 kW / 5.5 HP, 380 V three-phase water pumps.
Developed for small-scale agricultural applications, the system converts solar energy into controlled electrical power for daytime water pumping. It provides a practical solution for farms, greenhouses, orchards, livestock facilities and remote agricultural areas where grid electricity is unavailable, unreliable or costly.
The reference configuration combines thirteen 550 W monocrystalline solar modules with a dedicated 4 kW solar pump drive. The pump drive regulates motor speed according to available solar energy, helping the connected pump operate efficiently under changing daytime irradiation conditions.
This model is particularly suitable for water transfer from boreholes, wells or reservoirs to irrigation networks and storage tanks. Final system suitability must be confirmed according to the pump current, required water flow, total dynamic head, borehole depth and project location.
